Commissioned by Art Connections for North Yorkshire Open Studios 2009.
An experimental new work for the crypt of St-Martin-on-the-Hill, Scarborough. Visitors enter the subterranean depths to discover the ‘Source’:

An inverted tree & root system emerges above a pool where dripping water creates ripples of reflected light.
A video loop of radiating patterns of water is projected from within a deep tunnel.
Illusive reflections of ones face appear above a ladder leading to darkness.
Pin pricks of light illuminate falling streams of silver sand, marking the passage of time.
