The engagement and active participation of new and young audiences in our work is important to us. Workshops are often integral to our productions with creative outcomes seamlessly incorporated into the performance environment (see The Enchanted Forest and Small World). Sharing our skills and enthusiasm, we like to break down any boundaries that might separate the artist/performer from their audience. Working across art forms makers can become performers and visa versa. A workshop space dramatically lit can be part of an installation, a workshop activity, practised and refined becomes a performance. We give free reign to the imagination and curiosity, gently guiding these to a communal outcome where all can show and share in a sense of achievement. |

Yorkshire Sculpture Park, North York Moors National Park, Musicport, Chrysalis Arts and North Yorkshire County Council (including teachers’workshops and resource packs) Dome d’Ombre workshops can be adapted to most ages, needs and themes ranging from simple drop in sessions to more elaborate productions developing over several days. We have a spirit of adventure and welcome responding to new situations and challenges. We would be happy to discuss possibilities with potential clients.
